For the great, Just a simple American girl – America Miller High Life and Dog Leg shirt, God bless all our four-legged warriors and bring them all safely home with all our military. These sub-standard importing practices, done by unethical rescues are putting dogs and people at risk, and are introducing new parasites and viruses to our animals that our vets aren’t familiar with. Without the adequate behavioral screening, aggressive/dangerous dogs are ending up in our already over-burdened Canadian sheltering systems, because the sub-standard rescue that brought them to BC doesn’t have the resources or desire to meet that dogs needs. We currently have 3 dogs in care, that without our intervention and concerned community members taking positive action to find a better way, would have been shot.
